Christian Worldview ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Account information: email address, display name, date of birth, city, state, and optional profile photo and bio. Content you create: prayer requests (public or private), event listings, RSVPs, church reviews, and appeal messages. Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session activity, collected automatically via Firebase Analytics. Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and performance monitoring.
• Operate and improve the App • Display your profile to other Members (public profile only) • Moderate content to enforce Community Guidelines • Send transactional emails (account verification, notices) • Respond to support requests and appeals • Comply with legal obligations The App is free and has no in-app subscription, paid tier, or payment UI, so we do not collect or process any payment or billing information inside the App.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising outside the App. We do not share your private prayer entries with anyone — they are stored encrypted and accessible only to you.
Your public profile (display name, bio, city, state, profile photo, and join date) is visible to other Members. Prayer requests you post publicly are visible to all Members. Prayer requests you mark anonymous show only "Anonymous" — your name is not disclosed.
We use Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, database, cloud functions, and analytics. Firebase processes data according to Google's Privacy Policy. Stripe, Inc. is used only for identity verification of hosts and for external, web-based bookstore checkout — never for in-app payments, which do not exist. We do not store payment card numbers.
Your account data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information and content are removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer for service improvement. Legal holds may require retention beyond these periods.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit and Firebase Security Rules to enforce access controls at the database level. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
You may request a copy of your personal data, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion by emailing support@christianworldview.app. You may also delete your account directly from Settings > Delete Account.
The App is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover such an account, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
